Mario is all growns up and he's all growns up and he's all growns up. From Saved by the Bell, to Dancing with the Stars... and now to Extra. Mario is reportedly taking over for Mark McGrath.

I have a strange personal history with Mario. You probably remember him playing a wrestler (Slater) on Saved by the Bell. Well he and I attended the same wrestling camp back in High School. Now before you make your 'gay' jokes, this was the most brutal 2 weeks of my life. But Mario was pretty much a badass, believe it or not.

It's strange to think that our lives have taken such similar paths. About 18 years ago we were at the same wrestling camp... and now he's gonna be on a bigtime entertainment show that will be seen by millions, and I am writing articles on an entertainment website that will be seen by dozens. Congrats Mario! I can't wait to see what happens to us next.
